Azin Ahmadi

Azin Ahmadi graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA in Sociology and Developmental Psychology.  Her undergraduate work on the study of social inequality, focused specifically on race and gender. At UCLA her honors thesis received the Liza Mederos Award for Research Excellence.Her research focused on the different ways in which human rights organizations understand homosexuality as a practice and identity in the Middle East. Her fluency in Farsi, German and English and her advanced proficiency in Spanish and French has allowed Mrs. Ahmadi to tutor children from varied cultural, religious and racial  backgrounds. Mrs. Ahmadi has co-taught classes on race and gender inequalities at CSUN and at UCLA. In law school Mrs. Ahmadi would like to study human rights and immigrantion law and possibly specialize in critical race studies with the goal of working  for nonprofit organizations.
