Jennifer Odum graduated from Cal State Northridge in 2004 with a degree in Sociology with a focus in racial and ethnic relations. Her interest in this field stemmed from the challenges and joys of having a tri-racial family.
In addition to conducting diversity training workshops Jennifer serves as a teaching assistant for two classes on race, gender and sexuality at Cal State Northridge.
Her position as a parent of an elementary school child led her to explore and challenge the standard curriculum being taught to children in the public school system. Because of this interest Jennifer is currently in the process of being certified as a REACH trainer. At the completion of this certification she will begin holding training sessions for teachers with instruction on how to implement multi-cultural curriculums.
Jennifer is very happy to be a part of the CCODE team!
