Marlon Briggs is a product of the Orange County Public school system, attending University High, Irvine, and Gahr High, Cerritos. His degree will be in Social Welfare and Justice at California State University Northridge.
At CSUN, Marlon was responsible for the training of the CSUN Helpline which handles emergency calls for the entire San Fernando Valley. He was also elected to training Director for the Helpline.
Marlon is also trained in crisis intervention in the areas of drug abuse, depression and suicide. He has worked as a facilitator in university settings in race and gender relations.
Mr. Briggs has also worked at CSUN as a Resident Advisor and has been a case management intern for AIDS Project Los Angeles.
His favorite hobbies are reading and writing and engaging in music.
